KARACHI: Former Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur is also contemplating parting ways with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Geo News reported.

Arthur is expected to announce his decision soon after consulting with the PCB, as per the sources.

He had served as Pakistan's team director during the previous World Cup held in India. However, following the team's disappointing performance, the PCB Management Committee relieved foreign coaches of their duties.

After their dismissal, these foreign coaches were instructed to report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Subsequently, bowling coach Morne Morkel resigned from his position after the World Cup.

Recently, batting coach Andrew Puttick also left the PCB after securing a contract with the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).

Earlier today, former head coach Grant Bradburn bid farewell to the PCB. Bradburn took over from Saqlain Mushtaq last year and supervised the Test series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka, as well as the 50-over World Cup in India.

He is set to commence his new role at Glamorgan next month, assuming responsibility for the Welsh county across various formats.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Bradburn shared an update about his departure.

"Time to close the amazing chapter that has been Pakistan cricket. Three roles over five years, I am proud of what's been achieved and grateful to have worked with so many outstanding players, coaches and staff," said Bradburn.

"Wishing the teams, staff and everyone at Pakistan Cricket continued success and growth," he added.
